As we are learning all about people who help us, two firefighters came into school today to tell us all about their jobs and show us their uniforms. We got to try on lots of different pieces of the uniform and ask very important questions including “How do they save the animals in the Zoo if it goes on fire?” Don’t worry, they make sure everyone is evacuated before carefully rescuing the animals in the enclosures! Thank you to Alistair and John from Larne fire station for taking the time to come into school today.
