Our Community Tree
17th Oct 2025
Have you ever wondered why we have a Christmas Tree at the front of our school throughout the whole year? Actually, although it's lit up at Christmas to celebrate this important time, it's lit up with different colours throughout the year to represent the different girls, boys, parents, carers, family members, friends, teachers, assistants, other staff members, local community members, wider community members and our school governors who are ALL part of the Larne and Inver PS school community. It also represents the wider school community and how each and every one of us, although different, can 'shine a light' on each other by helping, caring, sharing and being kind.
Next time you see our tree lit up or if someone asks you why, please tell them that this represents a 'school community' who work together to make Larne and Inver the best that it can be and to continue to build 'A Bridge To The Future'.
