P3 have been exploring 3-D shapes. We explored how 3-D shapes can roll and slide. We looked at how 3-D shapes have faces, edges and corners and how we can work out how many each shape has. Also, we learned about some new 3-D shapes, the square based pyramid, triangular based pyramid, triangular prism and the cone. It was good fun. Over the next week or two we hope to make some of our own 3-D shape structures.
